Laboratory Animal Sciences brings us together every year to discuss scientific, regulatory, ethical and technical issues. This year, we have decided to deal with the theme of anticipation with a view to carrying out a project as a whole: ethical, experimental and scientific.

A novelty: we are dedicating the first session of the colloquium to the place of the animal in the progress of research to meet a societal expectation. We will then devote all the lectures to "anticipation in the broadest sense with a view to carrying out projects" with a particular focus on the factors of variability, ethical reflection from the design of the project, the implementation of protocols, their reproducibility and the anticipation of unforeseen events up to crisis management. All these post-experimental areas of reflection will then allow you to approach the implementation of your projects with greater serenity.

Europe's largest trade exhibition will be open throughout the conference to encourage discussion and exchange between delegates and exhibitors. On this occasion, while taking part in the scientific programme, you will be able to discover the latest innovations and develop your professional and personal network.
