Recently, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine successfully held a two-day "Professional Technical Level Training for Laboratory Animal Physicians" and "Cardiovascular Model Small Animals and B-mode Ultrasound Skills Training" activities. The training concluded successfully in Shanghai, attracting many laboratory animal doctors and professionals in related fields.

This training is rich in content and has diverse teaching methods, covering the responsibilities of experimental animal doctors, the standardized use of mice in experiments, the basics of B-mode ultrasound application in small animals, the basics of mouse cardiovascular models and B-mode ultrasound field applications, the feeding and management of rats and mice, TAC (cardiovascular model making, stroke) and many other aspects. The training invited many experts and scholars with rich experience in the field of experimental animals to give lectures, including Pang Wanyong, executive director of the Chinese Society of Laboratory Animals and chairman of the Laboratory Animal Physician Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Laboratory Animals and deputy director of the Laboratory Animal Welfare and Ethics Professional Committee, Shanghai Yan Guofeng, deputy director of the Laboratory Animal Science Department of Jiaotong University School of Medicine, Lu Xiao, a veterinary pharmacology expert who is a member of the Chinese Laboratory Animal Physician Working Group, Lu Jin, an attending veterinarian in the Laboratory Animal Science Department of Shanghai Jiao Tong Medical College and a member of the Welfare and Ethics Committee of the Shanghai Laboratory Animal Society, and Zhu Kuikui, a graduate student in regenerative medicine at Jinan University, is the technical director of Beijing Yeeran Technology Co., Ltd.

This training aims to improve the professional and technical level of laboratory animal doctors and strengthen the role of laboratory animals as important tools in research on disease pathogenesis, treatment and prevention. At the same time, the training also helps relevant practitioners better understand and apply ultrasonic examinations in practice, and improve their knowledge of basic ultrasonic operating techniques, common signs and precautions on the animal abdomen (liver, spleen, gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, urinary system, small organs, etc.) degree of mastery.

At the end of the two-day training, students who passed the assessment were awarded certificates by the Chinese Society for Laboratory Animal Science and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. The training was successfully held and received unanimous praise from the majority of trainees
