Abstract

On June 15, 2026, the Animal Center of Shanxi Medical University successfully completed the installation and setup of a portable small animal ultrasound system.

Lightweight and highly mobile, the device supports non-invasive, dynamic monitoring of the heart, internal organs, and tumors in mice and rats, enabling real-time quantitative experimental data acquisition. It flexibly adapts to multi-scenario experimental needs across the Animal Center, advancing scientific research in cardiovascular medicine, pharmacology, and pathology while establishing an efficient in vivo imaging platform for basic medical research within the university.
